Rental Policy

The following information applies to all rentals. 

  1. Notify your insurance company that you are pulling a NON-OWNED TRAILER. Your insurance may not have coverage for damages to the trailer. (Refer to Section SEF27 of The Insurance Act of Alberta)
     

  2. A surcharge of up to $75.00 may apply to units returned dirty.
     

  3. A $50.00 CALL-OUT applies to calls after regular hours.
     

  4. Your towing vehicle requires an electric brake controller to tow any trailer over 2004 lbs (909 Kg) GVW.
     

  5. Improper setting of your brake controller may result in tire damage
     

  6. Tire damage and flats are your responsibility.
     

  7. Check tire pressure and wheel nuts before loading.
     

  8. DO NOT overload trailer. Severe damages will result.
     

  9. Load securement must be in compliance with Department of Transportation
     

  10. Load your trailer with at least 60% of the cargo weight in the front half of the trailer axles. If the trailer sways, your load is too far back.
     

  11. DAMAGE to the trailer is your responsibility.
     

  12. Check your owner's manual for the towing capacity of your vehicle.
     

  13. A valid driver's license, proof of insurance, registration and a valid credit card will be required.
     

  14. DO NOT unhook trailer on street, it will be ticketed. You are responsible for all tickets, fines, fees, violations, etc. that occur during your rental period. 
     

  15. ANY ACCIDENTS AND/OR DAMAGES DONE TO THE UNIT, MUST BE REPORTED TO GREENWOOD RENTALS IMMEDIATELY. IT'S THE LAW!
